LE NOZZE DI FIGARO AT THE ISEUM OPEN-AIR THEATER

In August 2012 Csaba Káel put on stage Mozart’s famous opera in a special ambience, in the Isis Sanctuary of Szombathely, which dates back to the ancient Roman times. The fabulous place of act made a deep impression to all the singers and musicians from the first stage rehearsal. As Cherubino I “fell in love” with Andrea Rost, the world-famous soprano, whose Countess was really charming.

All my partners were from the very first line of the Hungarian world: Andrea Csereklyei as Susanna, István Kovács as Figaro, Tamás Busa as Count Almaviva just to mention a few names.

The Savaria Symphony Orchestra was conducted by György Vashegyi.
